SUSHMANA | HARMONY

HATHA & VINYASA

SATURDAY - 6:30 PM - 7:30 PM

Sushmana | Harmony Class Overview

Welcome to our Sushmana program at Dhamma Yoga. The Sushmana Nadi is the central energy channel that runs up the spine, representing the perfect balance between the hot (Pingala) and cool (Ida) energies. This class is “Balanced and Blissful.” It combines gentle movement with potent breathwork (Pranayama) and meditation techniques. The goal is not just physical fitness, but nervous system regulation. By centering your energy, you cultivate a state of deep mental clarity and inner silence that lasts long after you leave the mat.

Why Choose Sushmana | Harmony?

Discover Inner Peace with Sushmana

Sushmana was founded on the principle of Union (Yoga). Our mission is to guide you away from extremes—neither too active nor too passive—into a state of flow where the mind becomes still and the heart becomes open.

The Power of Breath (Prana)

Breath is the bridge between body and mind. This class emphasizes advanced Pranayama techniques to clear energy blocks and oxygenate the brain, leading to heightened awareness.

Moving Meditation

We focus on the transition between postures as much as the postures themselves. This mindful flow creates a "moving meditation," allowing you to disconnect from stress and reconnect with your true self.

FAQS

Answers to common Sushmana questions

No. We use physical yoga postures (Asanas) to prepare the body first. Once the physical tension is released, we move into breathwork and meditation. It is a complete practice.

Pingala is for energy/sweat; Ida is for relaxation/rest. Sushmana is the bridge. It balances both energies to create a state of "alert calmness." It is the most holistic of the sessions.

Yes! This is the best place to start. We guide you through the techniques step-by-step. You don't need to empty your mind; you just need to follow the breath.

By training your nervous system to stay balanced on the mat, you become more resilient to stress off the mat. You will find yourself reacting less and observing more.
