HATHA YOGA | IDA Class Overview

Welcome to our Ida program at Dhamma Yoga. In yogic tradition, the Ida channel represents lunar energy—cooling, reflective, and restorative. This class is “Gentle and Wise,” focusing on static postures held for longer durations to improve alignment and flexibility. It is the perfect counterbalance to a busy, stressful week. We focus on mindful breathing and grounding movements to soothe the mind and release deep-seated tension in the muscles.

Slow down, reconnect, and restore. Ida is a gentle Hatha practice designed to cool the body, calm the nervous system, and cultivate deep flexibility through static postures.

Why Choose HATHA YOGA | IDA

Experience Serenity with Ida

Ida was founded on the principles of mindfulness, stillness, and inclusivity. Our mission is to provide a nurturing space where you can pause the chaos of daily life and find inner peace through gentle movement.

Restorative & Healing

Beyond physical fitness, our Ida classes are therapeutic. They promote mental clarity, emotional balance, and a deep sense of calm by activating the parasympathetic nervous system.

Mastery of Stillness

Unlike dynamic flows, this class teaches the art of stillness. By holding poses, you build endurance, refine your alignment, and learn to listen to your body’s subtle signals.
